3-star boutique hotel in a 600-year-old medieval building in Galway's Latin Quarter

Building & History

7 Boutique Hotel occupies a 600-year-old medieval building at 7 Cross Street. This property has previously served as a convent and a brothel. The building retains its original character throughout, with narrow, winding stairs and rooms named after explorers, authors, and Knights of the Round Table.

Location

The hotel sits in the center of Galway's Latin Quarter, on a pedestrian-only street lined with pubs and restaurants. Eyre Square, Galway City Museum, and St Nicholas' Collegiate Church are all within a 5-minute walk. South Park and the beach are a 10-minute walk away, and the Spanish Arch car park offers a reduced overnight rate of €10 per 24 hours.

Rooms

Rooms at 7 Boutique Hotel are compact and designed for one or two nights, with hooks for clothing instead of wardrobes. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, air conditioning, and double-glazed windows. Earplugs are provided to reduce noise from the street-level pubs.

Breakfast & Dining

A complimentary continental breakfast is included for each room, featuring fresh fruit, cereals, breads, meats, cheeses, yogurts, and juices. The breakfast room also offers free access to tea, coffee, and filtered water throughout the day. No hot breakfast or in-room tea and coffee making facilities are available.

Services & Policies

The hotel offers concierge service with local recommendations, express check-in and check-out, and luggage storage before check-in and after checkout. Pets are allowed and the hotel will provide a dog bed and bowl upon request. Daily housekeeping, private check-in, and CCTV in common areas are included.
